Matsue is known as one of the three best places for Japanese sweets.  The Japanese sweets culture in Matsue developed along with the tradition of Japanese tea ceremony.  Traditional sweets in Matsue include “Wakakusa,” “Natane no Sato,” and “Yamakawa.”
